spending that kind of cash to make your car look fast is being a ricer... its retarded... if you want to do something worthwhile to your car get a intercooled supercharger kit from ati (procharger.com)... it will bump you up to 345 hp (if my memory is correct, its been a while since i checked)
Just ordered SRT 4

actually buddy i don't need to impress anyone, i bought the car when i was 17, how many people do you know that bought a brand new car when they were 17 without their parents money and like i said before buddy i dont need to impress anyone, my car looks nice, the women like my car, it attracts pussy and you have a dick so why do i care what you sayicq: 2721653Comment

Hehe, good luck, don't know where you take a Roush for warranty work, but it doesn't matter if the engine is bought from ford directly, they may refuse to service it if you have to take it to a regular dealership.Originally posted by init
ok let me tell you something now, the only difference between my stage 1 and the v8 stage 1 is, the engine, in the v8 one, they did no engine mods what so ever, as far as the warranty goes, uhm hello.... i buy the engine straight from ford and get a warranty, so as i said before, why pay 6k more for a car that is the same as mine other then the engine which can be bought for less then 3k
Try buying a cobra engine and slapping it in a GT, see how interested they are in servicing your car. Why would it be any different from a V6 - GT.Yo.Comment

Hp doesn't tell the whole story. 70HP + what, nearly 100 ft/lbs of torque + a engine that revs faster = ...Originally posted by init
uhm performance wise as in engine, there are no mods until you get to a stage 2, they have stage 1 v6 and v8, the stage 1 v8 has no engine mods, so are you calling that a domestic ricer?, the only diff in hp between my car and a gt is 60 hp, like i said before i am going to drop a v8
I haven't seen a stock v6 run 13.8 or so at the track lately, have you? =)
V8 swap = good, but if you are swapping a new engine, why not get a 4V Cobra or Mach 1 crate instead of the 2V? Gonna cost a little more, but it's worth it =)Yo.Comment

I see, so your a shallow fuck who has to attract girls w/ his riced out v6? Nice, I really am envious.Originally posted by init

It's just so funny when people by a car that is usually considered a performance car, get all pissy when someone insinuates it's retarded to have a v6, then goes back and says he doesn't race? Then goes back again and says he is swapping a v8 in? Confusion here.
If you don't want to impress anyone, don't race, why exactly do you need a V8? You bought a 'performance car' and you don't care about the performance? Wowow.
And I'm so happy about how you could afford a car, but that really has no relevance at all.Last edited by Swiftone; 02-01-2003, 06:59 PM.Yo.Comment

you're a complete idiot, they will service it if it is a ford engine, if you put a cobra engine in a gt they will service it like they do any other car, just because you swap engines doesn't mean they will not service itOriginally posted by Swiftone

Because you pay for servicing, that has absolutely nothing to do with a warranty. If you blow your engine, destroy your transmission, etc etc and have swapped a new engine in they will most likely refuse to work on it under warranty. You may have a nice dealership, but if you do something that drastic they aren't even required by law anymore to honor your warranty. You're just talking out your ass.Originally posted by init

Then again, it's not as if I have went through this before. You haven't even DONE your engine swap yet moron, so how exactly would you know. It's not as if I have a cobra powered GT or anything. Oh wait I do, I've been there, I've done that. Guess you must be really good at seeing into the future.Last edited by Swiftone; 02-01-2003, 07:06 PM.Yo.Comment

actually it does, my car costed 25k that being said, i could have easily bought a car that had well over 350 hp but i didn't, i bought mine because it looked nice, yea i want to swap a v8 into it later, not right now, and i dont race anyone right now for the simple fact that i had an accident and my insurance is high, i dont need to get caught by a cop and make it higher.Originally posted by Swiftone

Insurance = good reason to buy a v6.Yo.Comment

you truly are something else, if i bought a new v8 ford engine from the dealer i got my car and had them swap it in, and something goes bad i am insured, i did not void my warranty by modding up the engine, and i have talked to the dealer about this numerous times so when i decide to swap, i know i wont get fucked if anything happens.Originally posted by Swiftone

That was my plan too, but the dealer wouldn't swap it in at all =( Would require too much lift time and it would interfere with their regular servicing.Originally posted by init

Early 90's GM resurrected the concepts . Pickup and SUV that handled like sports cars and accelerated like dragsters. Pickup was 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. SUV in about 5.Originally posted by exspamr
