LOL! yeah, usenet is as old as any 2,400 baud modem... but many people love it because of its anonymity, freedom and because its basically underegulated... when I started in 1995 I found it very interesting then turned it into a business in 1999... since then Usenet has been a killer app for me, more than the WWW, and my business floruished to a place I never thought about... I know that Usenet and the WWW are very common places now and hard to make money, but the first keeps a special value not found elsewhere... I still make a lots of $$$ using Usenet but I have had a hard time finding a service that pays affiliates with epass, so if anyone still knows one let me know

Haha I will defend usenet myself. Lets do a demographic here ;) most torrent and password hackers are either of age, close, or not of age at all.

Usenet users are demographically of older age, more experienced and alot of the core users of the web from "back in the day".

While I am not putting EVERYONE in these categories, i'd much prefer the higher income earning older usenet users to view my tour then the torrent freeloaders. Bottom line, its in the conversion.

In the end, getting your word out anywhere warrants sales, within reason.
