The new IE for OSX blows. I've actually gone back and started using Netscape 7.01 and it's pretty groovy. Loads pages MUCH faster than IE, which tends to hang and often display pages in blank chunks. Nightmare.

Are you kidding? Safari! I use Safari for 90% of everything, and when it fucks up, Chimera. Chimera has good standards support and the flash speed doesn't suck. But give Apple a month or two and I'm sure Safari will destroy.<BR>

I use Safari for almost everything. It is still a beta, so it does have omissions. More than 90% of my browsing works well in Safari, and it is fast and stable.
For now, though, I would say that IE, Netscape, and Mozilla are the only complete browsers. Safari will be finished within a couple of months, but Opera, Chimera, iCab, etc. will take much longer. My advice is to use Explorer or Mozilla for now, but Safari should be ready for primetime very soon.

...hey if I didn't have to use a computer to make money then I'd avoid them all like the fucking plague, mac, windows or what the fuck ever OS, and I'd be sipping Caprihinas on the beach.Originally posted by mrthumbs
little things like that are exactly why Mac's suck.
I use both, I guess at the end of the day I prefer the mac, but it's a bit like a choice between root canal and pissing gall stones the size of golf balls - there both gonna hurt some.

We use Safari and IE on the Mac, I will say Safari is much faster but still buggy.
We really don't use the Mac for the Web surfing though and instead use PC's do surf. Macs handle the web dev and real chores. The PC is for wacking off.I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.
