ContexaClick Update

New information is coming to light that domains, including Contexaclick were not sold legally. While we attempt to figure out exactly what is going on, Fadoo.net, the current owner of the domain Contexaclick will be forwarding the name servers to Turboface as we feel this is the right thing to do under the circumstances. The domain will remain in our possession until we know with 100% certainty what the full story is, so it may revert back to Fadoo at anytime.

We are always accepting affiliates, regardless of Contextaclick ownership. Simply visit Fadoo.net for additional information.

a known scammer selling some popular domains was just nuts

As crazy as it sounds, the situation is clearing up a bit ? at least on our end. Fadoo purchased the domain legally. There was an exchange of money, and we acquired a domain name.

Despite claims to the contrary, nobody has been able to show us documentation that there was any kind of theft involved prior to our purchase, and we certainly did not knowingly purchase a stolen domain. If the domain was stolen, there should be a paper trail a mile long including FBI activity (according to the registrar for the domain who I just spoke to.) So until Turboface can furnish what should be countless pieces of paperwork showing that there was an actual incident of hacking, theft, etc?, we will assume any odd activity is between Patrick and Dave.

As far as we are concerned, a domain was for sale. Fadoo.net purchased it (regardless of the seller?s reputation), and the domain transfer went through without problems.

As of now, we are redirecting Contextaclick to Fadoo until Turboface can back up his claims that the domain was stolen. Should he provide the documentation we thought he was providing earlier today indicating the domain was in fact stolen, we will certainly return it. Until then, Contextaclick is owned by and directed to Fadoo.net.

As we got what we paid for, we were not scammed and even with all the accusations flying around, so far there appears to be nothing illegal in the sale.

This could have been cleared up right away if WebAir came out and made some sort of statement.. or at least contacted the parties involved to straighten out whether or not the server was hacked. But they haven't. And that's just ONE of the things that is making this unclear.

Yep... And no one is... I'm privy to what's going on and I find it extrememly strange that Mike is doing more work than ANYONE to prove ownership or that they were stolen... If I had my domains stolen I would be bending over backwards to prove my case and get the info out there and that's not happening... Even Webair has been somewhat vague...

i hate to break it to you but regardless of if you THOUGHT it was stolen or not . if you possess stolen property , you do not legally own it.. and you can be liable for damages that result from misusing it after becoming aware it was stolen.

Neither party was proving anything... webair was vague... Mike decided to just wash his hands of the whole thing and the domains were back with Patrick on the 10th.
