Truly great band and if you read hammer of the gods it tells you. They made some of those great albums on the road. So its not like to today where some group locks themselves up some where for a couple of months.
While led zep was touring they would find a studio in the town they were in,cut some tracks, play their concert. Then on to the next city and do it again. God that had to be a bitch to do.Comment

hammer of the gods!
Led Zeppelin was pure magick. No other band has ever had the ability to harness, amplify and direct energy the way they could.Unvaxxed, still alive.Comment

Every time I hear Kashmir I think of the laser light shows at the Miami Planetarium in my youth. The used to run a Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and a current (at the time) hair band show on weekend nights. I wonder if they still run those shows...Comment

Here is a live version:
Kashmir
I have a DVD that has Robert Plant doing Kashmir with a band playing traditional instruments from the region...including that hurdy gurdy organ thingy.
The best ever though was when I saw a Page/Plant concert years ago at Shoreline Amphitheater (Stone Temple Pilots opened), and there was an orchestra all dressed in tuxs playing strings, backing the band.
You could tell the orchestra people were having a blast, playing like Electric Light Orchestra's string players on viola, violin and such.
Quite trippy and very magical indeed - a special night...
