    Computer troubleshooting question

    My roommate's desktop will not come out of hibernation, I have tried a number of things including ctrl-alt-del to try to reboot. We end up having to pull the plug on the damn thing, which is something I truly hate doing, but that's the only way to get it to reboot.

    Any ideas on what I should look for?

          a techie friend of mine said never let the puter hibernate. as stated above i would just disable it.
