    1099 Forms-referal

Hi there, my accountant is saying that anyone that makes over 600.00 for the yr needs to have a 1099 sent to them. CCBILL cuts the checks, so do I really need to send these off? Its weird, no one really has a for sure answer. If I personally cut out a company check to pay my referals I would need to right? Why is this any dif? The money is taken out, I see in that stats that it is taken out from my account. Please help if you can. Thanks so very much.

You need to claim the money that YOU make from CCBill, just as the people getting referral checks need to do...

Thanks Kayla, I was checking out a thread on a message board somewhere and a guy was saying that he 1099's people that make over 600.00 But he sent checks out of his company name. I was having a hard time seeing the dfi between the two. I guess because I never got a chance to see any of that money, then it wasnt mine in the first place. Still confused.

if you never received the income and you did not send the payments it is not your problem. It is up to CCbill to deal with it. You should ask them.
