    Simple Internet Explorer Question?

    Hey,

I know this is a dumb question but, how can I download more than two files at the same time? With normal settings it only lets me download 2 at a time, but I want to download all threw the night so I would like to download 20 at the same time. What setting do I have to change?

    Thanks in advance

Click start, click run. Type in regedit. Press enter. Under HKEY_Current_User folder, look for the Software folder. Double Click it. Look for Microsoft folder, double click it. Look for Windows folder, double click it. Look for CurrentVersion folder, double click it. Look for Internet Settings folder, click on it. Click on Edit Menu, select new, then Dword Value.

Name this selection MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server and press enter. Double click on MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server, and change the value to a.

Go back to Edit Menu, select New, and dword value.

Name this selection MaxConnectionsPerServer and press enter. Double click MaxConnectionsPerServer and change the value to a.

    Exit from regedit/restart ie's, etc.

Just a question. Why do people still insist on double clicking? I have XP set for just one click and it's much easier. Double clicking is so pointless.

Habit. I'd feel like a seal about to get clubbed by some Inuit if I were to change it to single click.
