Emergency - Need some help

I'm fuckin' freakin' here...
The Hun is putting my bandwidth through the roof... (Not that I'm complaining! Don't misunderstand) But I am not gonna be able to pay that bill...
Wanna know if any of you think a T1 line will handle that traffic or if that's simply too small. I've been checkin' out free hosts all morning but they all seem to wanna put a fucking 4 inch banner on top and bottom. I wouldn't mind a regular banner or text links, but shit! Those things are as big as my hand!
Anyhoo... I've got a T1 here, but I'm not sure if it'll take the hits.

Are all your images compressed? You can still do that. I had a hun gallery that I forgot to do and had like 95k images that I easily put down to 35k.

Use Unlead smart saver pro or something similar to compress.

Yeah, they're compressed as much as I dare take them. Any more and they'll look like shit. I just switched the domain to my server here on the T1.
The criticism is good and will prevent me from making bad hosting decisions in the future, but right now I had to do something. I know it'll still be a few days before everyone resolves to the new A record, and that's fine. At least I can cut the bill off in a few days. Just have to take my chances and hope the T1 can hang.

Hey, we all live and learn, I can remember one time when I had several free sites go up at Tommys and GG's about the same time I made a site that got a PK listing -- it was a freaking nitemare, since I was only about two or three weeks into the business and had no clue how to convert my traffic -- I've always used paid hosting so the bw bill just kept growing and growing and it scared the daylights out of me.

First thing I did after that was get help -- from anyone and everyone who would review my sites and give me tips on how to make more than I was spending -- there are some very good Newbie Boards around that can give you real help on learning how to market to the surfers and make some money -- Voltars Newbie Board -- which is still at Netpond I think, and Toms Newbie Booster, which is at WebOverdrive -- are very good places to go -- no one laughs at your questions or mistakes and the philosophy at both boards is instead of just building gallery pages and running thru alot of traffic, learn how to make money off traffic first --

I'm sure you probably did. And I'm equally sure I probably didn't read that part, because hell, "I know everything!"
And look where all my vast knowledge got me.
I actually have read alot of those boards too, but of course I can be pretty stubborn when it comes down to "how I wanna do it". Someday I will look back on this snafu and punch myself in the face for being so fucking stupid.
I have half the problem worked out I think, (for one of the other domains) but still gotta find somewhere to put my TGP, cuz let's face it... there is no way in hell this t1 is gonna hang. I got myself into this... and I like to think I'm at least smarter than the average bear... so I'm sure I'll figure it out.

One last note: I just burned my fucking thumb takin' a pizza outta the oven. It can only get better from here.
