I used to do stuff like that but much simpler. I drew a kettle one time that I was quite proud of but even something small uses a lot of text.. that pic will be quite a few kb. Much easier on the BW to use jpegs

ok, this is sooo simple.
he drawed the girl on the display with a marker or something like this.. then started to do the html which took him few good hours of course. all filmed , compressed timeline and voila...

sorry but I don't think it's so 'wow' , I wanna see someone doing it live - way different thing.

Pretty cool but most likely a "script" that did all of that... Anyone else remember all that ASCII art back in the day? There were programs that would take a GIF/BMP image and create the ASCII art pictures. I think I still have one of those somewhere.
