Nice use of the script, it's given me a couple ideas myself. I think you're the first to actually use the gallery generating in the post function as opposed to the page function. I think it works pretty well...

Be warned .. I clicked his gallery example the fist time it worked fine. Second time I was redirected to a IP address and I think it was trying to install trojans.

It's your blog post. You click it twice and 2nd time redirects to a ip installing Trojans. If that's your site you seriously need to have your server looked at because it's been compromised.

The ip wont make a bit of difference.. you need to have the box and website looked at. It's probably IP or cookie based so one you get it, it doesn't show it again.

Test with a proxy or something. More than just myself have posted in this thread.

Well there is something there for sure.. Cant SS it because it hasn't done it since the first time. However others in this thread have posted they saw it too, so the site is compromised if not the server.

There is all kinds of sneaky nasty BS out there, if it's not in the source then it's on the machine. Could be activated by time as in only redirects every so often or by number of clicks who knows.

I just know I visited the site closed it, then was reading farther down the topic and opened it again to look at the site a second time and was redirected to a IP address that tried to auto install some BS.

More than likely it's something thats been installed on the machine, word press isn't exactly the most secure script out there. If you use any 3rd party trackers or counters that could be suspect as well.

The IP is out of Ukraine.. theres a big suprise.. I'd say you need a full scan on that box.

Those guys are pretty smart or getting smarter on their cheating and are pretty big time cheating operation. I'm sure they have blocked your IP address and any one whom has logged into your machine from seeing the exploit.

Thank you for pointing that out.
Our cpanel dns servers was suffering cache poison attacks.
If you want a little more information regarding the attack type please reffer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNS_cache_poisoning
This issue has been contained and the dns array has just been rebuilt.
As I've seen that this is happening much lately, I'd like to point it out for some of you guys that might have any trouble with those kind of redirections.
Ask you technical support/admin team, to disable recursion from named.
Use always the latest version of bind and try to use the following rules at your named server config:
acl internal { 127.0.0.0/8; };

options {

allow-recursion { internal; };
fetch-glue no;
use-id-pool yes;

};

Actually yes.
Run a test at your DNS servers and check for recursion.
If they are open there it a pretty high chance that they are vulnerable to those attacks.
you can run a test using dnsstuff.com (sample url: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsrep...nstarjunky.com
)

Where you see:
Open DNS servers, it has to say: OK. Your DNS servers do not announce that they are open DNS servers.

If they are open, you might have a security risk.

I've found some old news regarding DNS problems, and that's somehow dirturbing to read, but it's still very actual (those tests where ran in 2005)
