Mac users - software question

I could use some recommendations. What do you use to sort content and browse through images to categorize them? On the PC I think I used ACDSee and Irfanview a lot.

What do you recommend for cloning the drive to an external USB drive, and making it bootable?

Any other cool software recommendations?

aperture is great and equal to acdsee or lightroom

komodo is a good free html/php and alot more editor

adium is best for chat
