    REFORM sig rules thread

    Before you jump on me, lemme say I understand why they have to exist. I don't want pages that load 50 sigs 1 Mbyte each, or idiots having a 3 screen long signature.

    But really, that's what we care about, how big in bytes and how tall on the screen. Otherwise, who gives a shit.

    So instead of a so and so button and so and so lines of text, couldn't the rules be "No signature over 4 Kb and no signature taller than an inch" or 60 pixels or whatever ? Seems it'd make alot better sense.

      No, no and no. Since most signatures look pretty unique (even if it's the same program), it's easy to distinguish posts from different people without having to read the name, which makes following a discussion or answering to specific people alot easier.

      I can name many members by looking at their sig only...very comfortable.
