Problem with Windows Vista

I just bought a new laptop with Windows Vista basic, and so far it has been crashing on me, and it only happens after I've left the computer idle.

For example, when I resume use after Ive put it in sleep mode, the "resuming windows" displays and then screen goes blank.

Anybody have this problem? And should I upgrade to vista full?

I recently bought a laptop too with Home Premium and I havent had any problems at all. Hope u get it fixed.

If you have problem with Windows Vista you get Windows Xp on your laptop or buy Windows Vista Ultimate

i bought a sony vaio with vista, and it comes with tons of advertisings of spider man, sony pictures, aol, and tons of shits. (and i hate that)
but its working fine. try with a format or return it for another one.
there are a lot of software that just don't work with vista. also some drivers,
but win vista looks great.
