Does anyone use a Tablet PC?

I'm considering getting one for school, scanning all of my books, and using it in place of a notebook in order to give myself a lotless crap to tote around.

My only real concern is how natural writing on one will feel.

I haven't really used a PDA-type stylus-type thing since before Palms had color screens.

I also keep getting flashbacks to those "light pens" from the early 80's.

Any advice or info on the subject?

That Modbook using Wacom's technology and their products work quite well from my experience...and I didn't even have the highend stuff.

Its a decent idea, i have tried doing this. If you are really set on doing this get a good tablet not a cheap one like i got and remember it takes a long time to go digital (scanning book)
