question about this ASP potd script

I was looking around for specific features in a potd script and this one has it all, the only dowside is it's in ASP and i never did anything with ASP.

Im clueless about installing this since 99% of script authors always assume everybody knows what the fuck they're talking about.

This is from the readme:

Instructions:
1.Set the DSN you want to the database file pod.mdb
2.Open the photooftheday.asp file and make the DSN Changes.
3.Open the table tblPhoto in the MS Access Database and add the thoughts and file names of the photos that you want.
4.Upload the photos in the same folder where you keep the .asp file
5.Open the file photooftheday.asp from your browser and it should work now, if all the steps
above are done correctly.

fist of all how do i 'set a dsn'? I opened the pod.mdb in MS Access and all i see is a table of the image files with texts.

Or i have a better idea - who has this shit in PHP???

for starters - do you even have an Windows server/hosting?

no... figured it was something like that... thats why i never heard or used any asp scripts.... doh!
Keep in mind im not a server nerd i know some things but at most things im fucking clueless.

ahhh after searching my ass off i finally got a similar if not better script in perl... that i do know a little!
