dont fool yourself with the higfh speed DSL, its a shared line. several DSL companies are being sued for chopping the bandwidth they promised customers.
its smooth on my cable modem or I would have it up.

I have a T1 line and its choppy, the fish move backwards in time.. I suggest you spam somewhere else
the software is expensive, any live video is expensive to do, thats why you dont see many people doing it unless they are using pirated software then it takes a bunch of people to go in together to pay the bandwidth. Bandwidth for streaming video is rather high because of the nature of what your doing.
I have been doing streaming video since 1997, its not like back then when we would have typically 100-150 people at a time watching a cam, now its only a few people. even sites that have 3000-5000 members your not going to have as many people as you think on at any given time.
We have a price for a custom written app from a local programmer. Our clients problem is loading the feeds with the girls, which may not be an issue in a week or 2.
I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.

actually his support long time ago used ot be execellant untill some idiot posted a crak to his server and every lame ass started stealing his stuff.
we have used it since 1998, before that used ultralive and we have tested real server and media server.
the later 2 work great if your customers can get it to work for them and they are on a fast connection. So even tho media server is free we dont use it because your cutting out half your customer base plus there is no security.
the new emulive stuff right now, is the best on the market for the masses. it works for all connections and all browsers. people may disagree with that but there is a reason why of us have been around along time and others who try cheaper methods shut down.

Shared DSL? No, I'm on a dedicated line dude at 1.2 mb/s bandwidth speed.
I've got a ton of streams in the members area and they look smooth as silk.
I wasn't being critical. Just letting you know your video stream was chopping as was the audio. If you want to promote your services, don't you want to sell something that looks and works perfect? GFY folks are pretty picky when it comes to functionality.

That may or may not be the case, we will not give any more money to Emulive to find out.
We built our own custom software, it was expensive, it was a pain in the ass, but now we have complete control over our stuff.
p.s.: On a side (spammy) note. We are still open to add a couple more studios to our system. No "girls at home". just professional studios. Including Male models. If you have an all-asian stuido, that would be even more interesting for us.
Since the chat window doesn't work on a Mac why not just use Windows Media? PCs all have it anyway. There's no point in using Java if it's not cross platform.
direct fiber link here LOL (we're guinea pigs on a new connectivity system being beta tested in Florida). I should go and take a pic of the monster COB setup they have outside. Its fucking insane looking equipment.
and have a dedicated microwave p2p wireless system on the roof of our office building in Ft. Lauderdale.
