retentions depends on which site you promote, it's more likely that a member will stay as a 'fan' of tawnee stone or other single model site (Nina, Raimi, Taylor, etc.) than a regular 'standard' site.

Nobody is saying they don't have good sites, they do. They have cute girls and great tours. They just don't retain like they should. I've never been in their members areas so I can't say why that is.Originally posted by SleazyDream

From my experience, you can increase retention by increasing the frequency of updates (even if they are smaller updates) and by keeping the focus of the site very narrow. If you load a site up with plug-ins (I'm not saying that is the case here) you lose that focus and once that happens, your surfers might as well surf free sites all day.Comment

I had high hopes from Lightspeed, because I like their banners and tours.
However, this month, I have made 1 sale ($2.51) from 1,137 uniques. Last month was about the same.
Based on this, I cannot recommend them.Comment

In my very personal opinion, here is what I see what's wrong with the girl's sites ( tawnee )
The member's area looks cluttered,
The photo sets are disappointing
The videos are horrendous.. with that music they put in them they lose all 'excitement'
Again that is very personal so I may be wrong. I do not know if fixing that may help retention as I do not know what surfers want.

They convert fine, retention is not so great. My average income is about $19/SU, based on app. 500 signups, which is not absolutely the best. Maybe some cross memberships for long term subscribers would help.

1) you got credit for EVERY hit
2) you got credit for EVERY signup
3) you got credit for EVERY rebill
4) you got credit for exit sales
5) you were provided with free original content, fast free hosting, and professionally-made freehosted galleries
Would people rather get shaved 50% so they could have $35/trial? I'd rather be honest with my webmasters, and pay them what they earn. I'll sleep better at night.

I can't convert lightspeed
If I was lightspeed I would ask to look at your gallerys and where your promoting them. Lightspeed didn't get this big because they don't convert.
I hear this time after time about a lot of sponsors. Before you bring it public do you contact the sponsor themselves and ask for a hand?
This whole business is based on sales. You have to know how to sell something before you will convert.
Also are you listing your pages with sites thats trading traffic like a circle jerk?
I think it would have been better had you presented this as "This isn't converting for me can anybody help?"
For people who know how to sell the niche lightspeed works they convert like crazy. For others that don't know the niche or are trading with worn out traffic of course they don't convert. But is that lightspeeds fault ?Comment
