I need a simple mailinglist script, to collect emails and send out newsletters, and it need to work so the surfers has to confirm their email first... anybody know a good free script for that?

Free, no. But SendStudio is incredible and worth it if you've got $89.

GroupMail is FREE and seems to let you do some useful things like

o Import contact lists from Excel spreadsheets
o Segment mailing lists
o draft and send html mailings

Just google it for download sources
