As usual I had an issue come up late at night maybe 3 in the morning and their live chat got it handled, monitored and solved all within 24 hours, smooth as can be. I've yet to have a bad experience with these guys in all this time and I just wanted to say I appreciate quality hosting!
Webair does it again!

Webairs live help is VERY hit and miss. Depends on who you get. Half the time they tell you they dont know or it's your error and the other half of the time they do a great job.
I'm not a hater but i left because i like a host to bat 100%.
Oh and i was dedicated not virtual.Comment

When will people get it through their thick fucking skull that low price for a service is not an excuse for shitty support?
It's simple, really, if the hosting company offers low-cost plans and these are included in the same agreement with the client as their dedicated servers, then the virtual clients should not experience any disruption in the service they're receiving any more than their dedicated clients. Sure, virtual hosting is a business model based on volume and you can't make a profit on each individual account. But you can make sure that the problems are limited (you can never make them disappear) and that you don't end up getting bitched about over and over again on the very same industry board you and most of your tarket market frequent.Whitehat is for chumps

Why do people make it sound like it's some kind of miracle? As usual I had an issue come up late at night maybe 3 in the morning and their live chat got it handled, monitored and solved all within 24 hours, smooth as can be. Newsflash: thats how any decent host operates.
Now move along, nothing to see here.Comment

Ok, first of all - it's indeed no miracle to solve an issue within 24 hours, this should be mandatory for any somewhat quality host. But I do agree, Webair is a great one - I have all my sites hosted with them aswell and I'm pretty satisfied (except some MySQL issues which have been solved now). Thumbs up for Webair (and I was on DreamHost myself before, Webair works MUCH better for me).
Goddamn it, I'm so tired of posts like this. Thanks for calling me a cheap fuck, because yes - I'm on virtual too! And now heads up, something totally new for all those "go dedicated" shouters: Believe it or not, there aren't experienced fulltime pro webmasters in this business only. Many people do this part time, or are maybe just starting up with their first sites, who maybe earn like $250-500 a month, or even less. Now you tell me they should invest $200+ on a dedicated server, although this will completely blow up their budget? Very funny. If I'm big enough one day to move to dedicated, I will. But for now, with not that much revenue and a transfer volume of 10-30GB a month, why the hell should I move to dedicated?
Nope, that's wrong! Only the very cheapest plan "Webair Starter" ($9.95 monthly) has ticket support only. Invest just a bit more, and with "Webair Basic" ($19,95 a month) you get full live support access. I'm on this plan, and it's well worth the extra money!Comment

The tech that manages the server I work on usually sorts it out while he's on the phone to me....
See, I learnt my lesson by skimping on hosting. I found a good place near to my house (I can drive there in 35 minutes). But then again I'm wanting to sell small shared accounts, so If I had a tech issue I couldn't handle myself, waiting 24hrs to hear back from the tech just would not do at all!!!ICQ: 446-568-913 Email: liam||goodingsmedia.com msn: [email protected]

if it took my host 24 hours to complete a ticket I would wonder what happened...my approx ticket close time for my dedicated is 16 minutes....VERY rarely it goes over 1 hour to complete a ticketComment

Thanks - I came in here to say just that. I make between $400-$800 a month on a virtual account with Colo-Cation. Why I need to go dedicated is beyond me - I think it's more of an ego trip, to say "Oh look pansy - I'm a big pornmaster and I'm on dedicated!" - big deal. That's like most of the people driving those huge SUVs (even if im rich I still won't ever buy one) that when something breaks down, they can't afford to fix it because they're paying through the nose on insurance and gas and they're hoping like hell nothing goes wrong. My little Dodge keeps running, and hey, if it does break down, I can fix it next day no problem.Goddamn it, I'm so tired of posts like this. It's all about knowing your needs and budgeting wisely. If you need dedicated hosting, then you need it. If you don't, there's no point to get it. Unless you feel like blowing your hard earned wad on bandwidth and CPU power/disk space you'll never use, but hey, if that earns you a right to be a dickhead - well then all the power to ya

i said the whole problem was solved within 24 hours. that was after monitoring to find out what the whole problem was. there was never a ticket put by me because i went straight to live support and got the problem worked on immediately
but either way this thread shows how good they are in that so many people have had such good experiences and getting a response immediately with live support is faster than 16 minutes chiefComment

You might wanna do a search for Webair on this board and find out that your experience with them isn't necessarily similar to others'.i said the whole problem was solved within 24 hours. that was after monitoring to find out what the whole problem was. there was never a ticket put by me because i went straight to live support and got the problem worked on immediately

We're not haters. Just don't understand why they need a public thumbs up for doing their job (almost well). Isn't payment thanks enough?
Digipimp, see what Tom just said? CCBill pay people like clockwork, every week. How many times have you seen people post here prasing them? Surely the checks they write must make people much happier than Webair's service? In addition to that, do a search for CCBill and compare the amount of complaints you get with the amounts of complains you'll find when doing a search for Webair. Hell, do a search on other hosts and compare the amount of complains about them with Webair, for that matter. If you have half-a-brain you'll hopefully get my point.

if you had half a brain you wouldnt worry about what others post on a message board, you'd just move on and read something that mattered to you. thanks for bumping the thread though. We're not haters.
