    unfortunately yes, one of my buddies works at microsoft developing it so they've been bugging the shit out of me about it. silverlight 1.0 is a joke, they might as well skip that. silverlight 1.1 which is in alpha now is decent since it has a managed clr built in...BUT there is no "non-hackish" way to use tcp sockets, which limits you to the antiquated method of polling to retrieve data which in turn restricts the ability to create true "interactive" applications. for the moment I'll stick with using flex for web applications.

        geez, whatever happened to adult being innovative? flex, silverlight, wpf, etc is all the rave right now in mainstream, but in the adult realm 98% of people probably haven't got a clue what they are.
