I just clicked an ad on top of GFY going to http://www.alphared.com/index.cfm?campid=11

Got hit with an error...

No UPS, No Generator, and a Hot datacenter, no network redundancy (if either cogent or global crossing goes down they are down, not enough capacity on either), and a congested network (unless you get just pure global crossing, but thatll probably be congest sooner rather than later)

yes, i retract that part halfway... they do have UPS, and some people are indeed on it, but it is MAXED out 100% and at least half their clients are on straight utility power with no ups or generator backup.


are you on ups, or are you on straight utility power? that is the question

either way you do not have generator

decent network for the price you wont find better for what they charge tech support is not the best but for the price its not bad they are priced in the same range as some unmanaged hosts.

I found their prices very interesting when that Girl with a "flyer" of herself and server posted here a few days ago.

So I did some research on mainstream boards and search engines and the reviews I found were not convincing(overselling bandwidth was mentioned... etc)...
