Anybody else hate flying?

My first flight scarred me forever. Was a flight on this mexican tin can to Cancun for Webmaster Access a few years ago and thought I was going to die.

I don't really mind to fly but I hate the lack of space in planes, especially on full flights. I've never been on a flight that took longer than 5 hours and I don't think I'd really wanna be. The fun usually stops for me after the climbing and then it just gets boring. After 3 hours I'm usually bored out of my mind. Turbulence can be pretty scary.. Oh yeah, and I don't like the earpain I always get and the deafness I experience for about a day afterwards either.

Flying is the shit. In Florida we fly small planes to the Bahamas when we get bored. Helicopters are even more fun, if fuel was not so damn expensive we would do it every weekend. I laugh when I hear American civilians bitch about US3/gallon, try fueling your chopper for a Miami run.

I have no fear of flying and in fact love being comfortably seated and staring out the window. I am more afraid of roller coasters than airplanes!!!

But, flying sucks these days because of security and overcrowding in coach.

Then again, that's why I go for the big chairs. I don't drop money on biz class seats at full fare prices, but becoming a frequent flier on one specific airline often allows u to sit in big chairs at small chair prices. Of course u can't be frequently flier if you're a pussy about planes.

I hate flying more than anything. I would much rather drive then fly anywhere. I take some xanax or a mix of anti anxiety pills when i go. I used to be ok until I had one bad flight, since then its been downhill. I get the creaps when I even go to the airport to pick someone up

Where failed parts of the engine impale you as they rip through the fuselage.

NO ASS IS SAFE ON A PLANE.

Yeah I hate to fly too. That is why I do not go to most of the adult wemaster events. I can't stand the plane ride. I did get a prescription for Xaxax, but it didn't work. I took a few and I was still scared. There are a lot of people that hate to fly.

A) It aint comfy there (even 1st class)
B) It's just a matter of time when next plane crushes and I u can only HOPE tht u wont b on it.
C) if the plane is actually crushin and ur on it there's shit all u can do and I hate situations when ur aint in control (sex' exeption lol)
And I just wonder when will something new b invented 2 move places faster and safer??=)

I really hate flying, I've got pretty long legs so I'm usually hunched up in this uncomfortable position unless I'm lucky enough to land an emergency row seat (has happened like once). I have to give first class a try I guess

I also get these horrible sinus problems when descending, intense pain all throughout my face and ears... Also I can never fall asleep on a plane, so if I happen to take a redeye (like half the flights to CR seem to be), it's like a full extra day of no sleep

i used to hate it when i first started traveling. but after awhile when you are flying almost every week, u eventually just get used to it (at least i did). now i actually enjoy it. couple of drinks, watch a movie on laptop, chill out and read.

I'm a certificated pilot (private) and I love flying

I love going to the airport and flying commercial too, it's great. I feel very safe flying in a single engine cessna, and the guys who fly commercial have thousands and thousands of hours in a plane

Driving on the freeway doesn't scare me either, but I realize that it's way more dangerous than flying on a plane (especially commercial)

A few weeks ago I saw some guy decapitated in a motorcycle accident near the bay bridge in SF.. Now motorcycles on the freeway, that scares the shit out of me, couldn't pay me to do that.

A motorcycle on the freeway is, by far, much safer than a motorcycle in town.

The only thing I hate about flying is the boredom. 10hrs isn't so bad to get to say Thailand. But it gets old flying to Europe, sitting on a plane for 2 days.
