    Geo Ip Code - Help

    Hey,

    I want to use some text like "43 Babes currently online in (city name) waiting for you"

    Can anyone help me out with a code?

            hmm...I guess these databases cost like 200-400$, seems a little high for the one line of text that I need

              Check out maxmind... it's easy to get it working with their sample code. You can use their web service for cheap if you don't expect a whole lot of queries.

                your welcome to use the geogif in my sig for free , but i may stop it at some point if it gets too many hits.

                use the following format

                http://tools.webspacemania.com/geogi...tbc~45~6~5.png

                the different parts are seperate by ~'s ( not dashes )

                the first part represent the message , in this case its "HEY CITY"

                the word stbc represents the city of the user seeing the image

                the second part is the font size, the third part is font face the fourth part is font color

                example

                      The one i'm using is actually pulled from 3 sep databases at random so as to maximize coverage.
                      as far as what i recommend
                      hard 2 say.. because no matter what you use theres always some people that its the wrong city. but the maxmind database seems to work well.

                        Yeah, I will use it for the countries, not the cities, so I guess maxmind will do then.
