I was born and raised on dalnet, lately spending time on undernet since dal is down totally i think.


I survuved the whole botnet erra (hehe had some fun too) and before that was the proxie wars, lol


Id have to say like 70% of my online friends were made on dal and i still talk to them today after 4yrs or so.


Well i was bored so i posted, feel free to reply.


P.S Anyone know wtf is up with dal? I havent heard anything at all except that i cant connect, lol

Dalnet goes and redirects irc.dal.net to 255.255.255.0 or some other null address when they are getting DDosed. if you use mirc try /server dalnet that should eventually work to get you on. I am an underneter through and through (No, I don't go by ZoiNk on irc)

problem is the lack of chanserv on undernet. Last I checked Efnet didn't have it either?

chanserve is gay. Can't just open up mirc, connect and be hapy, gotta do allt hatc hanserve crap, and try registering with chanserve or nickserve, it's a pain in the ass, I NEVER get my confirmation emails/

Dalnet is having a DOS attack i read in todays paper...being going on for a few days....seems this has happened before on occassions.
The problem seems to be some of these Moderaters in some of these channels, they kick people for some stupid reason, the person gets angry...then wammo, DOS.
If you chat in say Australia channel....and they see you are chatting in another channel that they dont like...the mods kick you! this sort of attitude only pisses people off.

I run a channel that isn't adult themed and the channel rules mean to explicit sex channels (family audience)...i'll ask you once in private to leave it and if you don't I kick your arse.
