I need a cookie written. Here's what it does.

An affiliate sends a hit to http;//domain.com?/123456 with 123456 being his/her affiliate linking code for a ccbill sponsor.

So now, id=123456 is set in a cookie on the surfer's machine.

Now, wherever they go after this they have that cookie (for a while). Whenever they hit the join form and ccBill wants to know what webmaster originated the click, there it is :D

(we could also do this with .htaccess I think, as long as all urls on the domain contain the ID number somewhere).

(we could also do it by parsing that ID into the html code, whenever asked 2 or 3 clicks later, by: <?=$_GET['id'];?>

Oh, it'll probably come up immediately that I could just use:

http;//refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=999999&PA=<?=$_GET['id'];?>(wmid)&HTML=http;//target-site.com

That would send every click through the ccBill redirect. I don't want to do that, it'll dilute our stats pretty badly I think.
