Python.com invites all webmasters to become part of The Python Crowd
So what the hell is The Python Crowd?
The Python Crowd is a contest - a sales contest. The difference between it and any sales contest that has come before, is that webmasters aren't competing against eachother - they are working together to GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM US AS POSSIBLE.
How does it work?
The setup is simple - 10 teams of 5 webmasters each trying to send as many joins as possible in a 1 month period to Python.com's flagship HD sites. What's the incentive? Why would anyone participate??
Webmasters have 3 levels of incentive:
1) Individual Webmaster bonus
The top 5 webmasters will receive the following cash:
$5000
$2000
$1500
$1000
$ 500
2) Team Bonus
Each team will receive a bonus to be divided EQUALLY amongst the team. The total team bonus will be dependent on the total number of joins by all teams (the 'crowd') AND the number of team joins.
3) Crowd Bonus
All 50 webmasters are working together to capture the largest bonus possible. This bonus is divided EQUALLY amongst all 50 webmasters
EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS
All 50 webmasers are entered into a draw for a trip to Toronto and the WebmasterAccess East show from May 16th - 18th just for participating. Prize includes roundtrip transportation and accomodations, and a chance to hang out with the coolest people in the business, of course.
The Numbers
Bonus amounts are based on total sales volume for the whole crowd. There is technically no limit to the size of the bonus cash pool, but if the crowd sends 7500 joins for example, the bonus pool would be $131,250!!
If each webmaster averaged 1 signup per day for 30 days, the bonus pool would be worth $11,250 - this is the minimum bonus pool (only the individual webmaster bonuses would be awarded at this level. Crowd and Team bonus kicks in at 2500 joins, which averages out to a paltry 1.6 joins/day/webmaster)

How do I build a team?
Creating a team is simple. Each team captain* receives $100. Participating webmasters receive $50 per reffered webmaster IN ADDITION to the normal webmaster referral payous (if it is a new python.com webmaster).
* To become a team captain, please nominate yourself. Team captains are appointed by the Python.com team *
Is this for NEW Python.com webmasters only?
NO! this is for ANY Python.com webmaster, old or new.
Do I get $50 referral on any webmaster I refer to the contest, or just my team?
You receive the $50 referral on any webmaster you refer to any contest team, and there is no limit to how many webmasters you can refer.
Do I have to send joins to collect the bonus?
YES. You will receive exactly $0 dollars if you send less than 5 joins to the contest and you will receive NO referral money if you are not a webmaster. This is a SALES contest for webmasters ONLY.
What is the payout?
The payout is $30 console free. This is not negotiable.
What if I have an active Deal or No Deal?
No problem, you can join a team and still earn your deal or no deal bonus in addition to any Python Crowd bonus payouts
When does it start?
the 31 day sales period runs from May 1st - 31st.
When is the draw for the trip to Toronto?
The draw for the trip is on May 1st
You must think I'm stupid, because why would I accept a lower payout than Im already getting?
Yes it would be easy to think that - but providing the minimum crowd sales target is met the minimum CPA target for the promotion is $37.50 on average. If the minimum crowd sales target for crowd/team bonus is met (2500 joins), no webmaster will have an effective CPA below $35.
This all seems confusing and complicated to even consider it, who the hell came up with this insane scheme?
