How the FUCK could there have been 2 hours between those shootings in Virginia? What kind of school are they running there? They must have known that a killer was still on the loose after the first shooting, why the hell wasn't the school on complete lockdown? I don't understand how 2 people can be murdered, and then 2 hours later a bunch more get murdered. Those people shouldn't even have been there...

From what I understand there were 2 shooters. I haven't seen much in the last few hours, so if anyone has more info, it would be appreciated ;-) But this would explain why it was easy to pull that off...

Do you have any Idea how hard it would be to LOCK DOWN a campus of that size. It is bigger than than a Small City.What do people think that they can just push a button and it's done.

I think once again this is going to come down to assessing a threat and making a decision to stop or put a hold on business. In large living environments like that it Is really treated as a city.
If you have a shooting on the west side of town that you BELIEVE may be a rouge situation do you shut down the east side?

Hopefully this will make the Nation re-assess security for these type of situations.

This was hardly disaster relief or a mass evacuation. I have seen large malls cleared out in 15-20 minutes during bomb threats, you can't tell me they couldn't have did the same thing here. At least give SOME kind of warning... jesus.

Why in the fuck didn't they stop classes? The "Norris" building is the engineering building.Why in the fuck would you want a large number of people in enclosed area. How do you explain why classes weren't canceled? They should have sealed off part of campus and somehow told people to move to the 'safe' zone. I know this is completely idealized and panic would ensue, but having people just go to their classes and not take any precaution. It makes no sense. "Ok, 2 people were killed on the other side of campus and we don't know if they caught the perpetrator, but continue on with your day and go to class".
