Things that get ya thinking.....

Here's some things that'll make you think for a bit -

SHORTS - Why do they call them shorts, if there's only one of them ??? You don't call your shirt, SHIRTS. You might say "Well, shorts have 2 legs", sure, that's true, but shirts have two sleeves.

Then there's the DEER thing. You can walk up behind your wife/girlfriend and call her deer, which is an animal, and she won't mind. Try going up to them the next time and say "Hello Moose" or "Hello Cow" and see if they give you the same response, ha ha ha.

Anyone else have anything that just bugs the hell outta ya like that. I know that there's many more out there like HAMBURGERS, there's no HAM in the burger, so why is it a hamburger ???

Since I'm on that subject, what about chicken patty ??? It's just a piece of chicken. You don't pat it like you'd do to a hamburger. So what's with the patty name ???
