Also what you intend to do if this new 2257 law does go into effect what you will be planning on doing??

I do not intend on moving at all I will comply to the new law if it goes through and stay right where I am in the United States the true home of porn and sexy ass bitches.

Could not agree more that there are more "unprofessionals" around here than otherwise. Most of em are kids with computers who have nada clue of the adult industry and who would piss their frilly panties at the thought of an obscenity trial - and often with ambitions exceeding their potential.

But.. there are actually folks around who do have more than a clue - some may be relatively new, others old-hands. I'll give ya a "medium" range if you have been in this biz since 92 - tho you missed the best years.

I'll keep doing what I'm doing because I have an attorney and I comply with all laws that I should. As far as the new-ish laws which have been manipulated recently I'll just have to make sure that the sponsors which I use actual content from will let me have access to the documents if the time actually comes. (Which isn't many sponsors at the moment, and they shouldn't mind being that I generate significant sales with them.)

If you are either living in the US or operating a business within US territory, - it would normally be fair to say you are "US based" and would be obliged to comply with US laws.

The location of the server is another element. If you contravened a law (eg obscenity law) in a country where your server was based, it is possible that country may be interested in prosecuting. However, in reality, unless any offense is an "extraditable offense" and assuming you are not a US citizen, it is most probable that this would not happen. The most that may happen is that your server would be closed down.

If you are not resident within the US or a US citizen, there is no reason to have hosting within that country or pay any attention to it's laws. It simply does not make sense to operate within an undesirable environment for an adult business.
