    CCBill Processing Fee?

Just got the weekly CCBill check and noticed a $6.25 processing fee attached. Usually we only get docked for the $0.39 transfer. It was deducted from the weekly total. Any idea what this fee is? I'm just an affiliate promoting sponsors.

Noticed a little extra "something" as well.

CCBill charges a fee to the programs using them as their biller.

This is the fee CCBill earns for providing service to the paysite/program.

Many programs will have this fee taken out of their cut of earnings, while few will have it taken out of affiliates cut, & some will split it 50/50

          True 50/50 split

That sponsor is not giving you a true split.

no, a "true" 50/50 split would be the affiliate splitting half the processing costs, no?

What about those holdbacks too.. I was left with around 20% of total sales after processing, holdbacks & payouts.

But suppose those will come in handy when issued in lump sum later down the road.

Well they heldback 5% and also paid the 5% they heldback from 6 months ago so it evens it out some, The 5% was 300% more then 6 months ago but not a big deal , I don't think you get a lump sum though. They just give it back every week after 6 months.

                        Correct.

Verotel does it the same way.

Just noticed a $1.99 processing fee for the first time -- was used to the 41 cents for the postage but this is a new one. Was this implemented across the board or is this a change in how the affiliate (web site) handles processing fees?

                          High Conversions + 75% + recurring + bonus = $ BANK $

I believe if you look under "Tools" in your CCBill admin it will tell you if the program covers the fees, or splits them with their affiliates.
