How long do you wait before pulling the plug?

    On new projects?

I've started a couple things and it never took off properly. From my experience if it doesn't work from the start it probably won't at all.

When I talk to people they seem amazed I quit so slow. I'm just not interested in losing more money. So I was curious how long you usually test out new sites or ventures before giving up?

    Cheers

Never gave up on my blog. Now, my blog pulls in mad cash on my already established flow of traffic from other projects.

I never said my projects NEVER worked. I'm a designer so I'm always trying new things. Some take off, some don't. So let me be a little more specific...

Say you spend $200/day and make back a whopping $50/day back for a full week... do you keep losing money?

if it doesnt work from the start, then you have to determine what area/s of the project is/are deficient and revise accordingly...change one thing at a time and monitor the results of each change...

There... thanks for an adequate reply.

Yeah, I'm a hardcore ANALyzer and such so I'm always tweaking to try and optimize to make things work. Some project take off on their own, some seem slow. But it seems when one bombs from the start, it never gets any better.
