    The Google link: command...

Just wondering...say I have about 400 new backlinks...and I acquired them within the month...

The sites with my link on them are archived by google with my link...however when I use the link: command and my site...it only shows my old backlinks...

My question is, do I have to wait for google to update, which is about every 3 months before I see those new backlinks with the link command? Like, wait for the next PR update?

    Thanks.

google quite a while ago put a hobble on that command, essentially randomizing what is shown, and not showing all of the backlinks. I think the idea was to make the PR process harder to figure out.

Now, others might also say that PR isn't important. They wouldn't be wrong.

not all links are backlinks... they dont update the backlinks as they find them.

to find out "raw" backlinks try

          link: site.com
          not
          link:site.com
