Good! Hopefully this kind of shit will run some of the newbies out of business. I can't imagine running a paysite and not having some kind of password trading protection. Anyone that dumb deserves to be working at McDonalds.

You are of course correct BUT the real problem is the constant DDoS attacks trying to get the damn passwords and the constant battle of fighting those attacks by hungry zombies.

It takes too much damn time fighting hackers when they attack in herds with proxies day in and day out. Do you have a magic bullet that does not run on the server itself?

Some of the sites I got into have been around for some time, I guess they like throwing bandwidth down the drain.

Actually, I do have a magic bullet. It does run on the server though. Is there some reason it shouldn't be on the server?

i have a magic bullet, too. it uses nearly zero resources. it could use a bit more work to catch more guys, but it's basically just a "slow crackers from trying to guess passwords" script. these guys were doing >2.5M guesses per day. much less now.

Yes. We have seen scripts and other server loaded tools kill our processors. When they hit us they hammer us. We block before the servers now but it is still not perfect and I would love other non server options.

I use Pennywize and still have a problem with a couple of passwords per week or week-and-a-half being hacked and showing up on these lists. They get disabled (temporarily) by Pennywize fairly quickly and so bandwidth isn't so much an issue, but it still burns my butt because it costs me time, and customers to reset each stolen password.

So the system helps, but still requires my attention regularly. Am I alone in experiencing this? I long for something airtight.

I haven't upgraded to the new Pennywize yet - I figured I would wait till after the holidays. What's peoples' experiences with it?

I use two password programs so they catch most. I am very happy with both of them, they compliment each other. What amazes me is the big sites on there and when you look in them they suck bigtime if I paid $35 dollars to get in I would be pissed. Goes to show you fancy graphics and design does not a consumer value make.

Nice to see pennywize doing it's job on Pimpdog and Lightspeed's sites there.

75% of paysites shouldn't even be allowed credit card processing.
If an AVS system can think enough about the customer who's going to buy an AVS premium/gold pass to set some kind of quality standards then why can't the third party processors?
Think there's not a significant number of chargebacks which come from honest surfers who are just pissed off they paid 30 dollars for a piece of shit?

I do gotta say that there are more quality sites these days around, more people buying custom and shooting their own videos and photos. The cookie cutter stuff will go away when people can't make money doing it, obviously that day hasn't come yet.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

damn, almost every link works, and from the ones ive snoped around in, the sites don't deserve to be active. The members section in most suck ass.
