I use DHTML on my own sites and publishers sites right now. I`d prefer a quality bit of pop code that broke through the blockers/IE7 but at least using something in DHTML always appears.

If someone has popups blocked, take it as a hint and don't give them popups. pissing people off isn't a great sales method (see boxing banner threads for more on that)
