With this being said...I want it to come in large GB models because the video feature is essentially worthless currently. In that sense their price point is too high because people wont pay more than $500 but there is only a place to go up on a larger memory model.

I also don't want Cingular. Its by far the worst carrier in Seattle. Fewest dropped calls? Riiiiiiiiight lol

Need to actually see the thing in person before I say yes or no.

I still dont get why people are complaining about the price though.... shop for a smartphone w/ similar features, and that amount of storage your going to be paying a lot more. Most phones with expandable memory still only allow you to put 2 gig micro sd cards in them. Any 8 gig phone out there right now, costs upwards of $700-$800 and doesnt have half the other features of the iphone.

The iPhone has 8gig and 4gig models, btw, to whoever was asking up there.

from what I have read it doesn't do anymore than my windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc phone except the fact that it doesn't have a keyboard and you have to convert your mp3's to mp4's not sure the browser will work with my slingbox sounds like it would be a $500 downgrade

Watch the product demo. I used to echo your thoughts til I saw it in action. The way they made it do things makes A LOT more sense than existing smart phones. Makes them look like "dumb phones" now.

If you put a feature list and compare it; its probably very comparable. But seeing it in action is a different experience

the only thing that I think is better is the way it lists voicemail's everything else I like better on the pocket pc like sirius radio and all the freeware that you can download to customize the phone to do whatever you want
