in my new system i haven't put the "cure" for the fucking script that changes the homepage of I.E. Today I had more than 5 different sites changing it. Earlier Boneprone experienced the same problem and he couldn't changed it, this shit activex messed his registry settings also. I sent him a program to fix it, but i havent seen online yet. I hope it didnt kill his computer The last changed was made by http://catallogue.com/search.html
Everytime i'm not lazy i contact their affliates (basicaly it's reporting.net - goto.com) and they cancel their accounts. This time is kanoodle. I'm going to do the same, these bastards are responsible also for the shit traffic many webmasters experience lately on paid SE listings.

i have ad aware 5.5 that i think does the same job, but i have forgot to update the bug fix.I'll do it right away because some of the scripts are messing with the registry also and you can't change their damn page. But it would be good to post a link if you have for the program, i guess they'll be webmasters that might need it

I hope your script fix works. Maybe somebody should build a script to REPORT these fuckers.

I am also having this homepage change problem. In addition when I open my browser for a new day and click on a link that opens a new window the window comes up as partial screen instead of full screen. I keep changing it back. Yet the next day, its the same partial window. Anyone have a solution for either of these. Frankly, I am getting fucking tired of the bullshit

It doesn't have anything to do with the OS, but with the browser.

But it might be a reason for not getting the reg settings changed. Win2k is a lot more secure than anything else M$ ever came up with.
