    Verio Hosting?

    What everyone's general feeling about Verio hosting? We're considering switching and I've heard a lot of good things about Verio.

      BTW, we mainly care about stability rather than bandwidth since we don't have a pure content site.

              Verio is VERY good. They are NEVER down. I had a site there for three years, and only saw it down for a few hours once. They are very good in that respect. However, they charged me an extra $124 for going 1% over bandwidth the very last day I was hosted with them. I find that hard to believe since the site was only a fan site to some anime, and in that whole three years I was at 50% bandwidth use. How do I suddenly jump up 51% in one day? That kinda seemed awfully strange to me... and I don't think I trust them anymore.
              SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                  Verio Quad billed me for six months AFTER I had moved off them to global crossing. I'd say they have THE WORST Customer support , even worse than cogent.

                  Maybe they got better after NTT bought them, but when I dealt with.

                      Verio is great but you will really find waaay better prices and more personal attention with some of the more reputable porn hosting companies.
                      I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
