Icq tips?

Hi
I always use ICQ, but always forget who is who etc, and the only way i've found to come round this is to give everyone their own group and "describe" them (eg do link ex, buy plug from him etc) with the group title.

There must be a better way. I am an icq newb. only found out today about logs...

you can use trillian, when you save them, it saves their name or you can overwrite it.

such as if someones name is "bossku69", then usually i put like "GFY - bossku69" if they are from a board, or "Sponsor - Name" so i know who they are.

Too bad this industry is all using ICQ. MSN Messenger and Skype are far more advanced instant messenger than ICQ. Trillian is too slow and bloated for my taste.

in Trillian, you can leave notes about each user....

I found though that i didn't like trillian too much.

I always rename ppl so i can easly remember...usually i add their program or their type of bizz before nick

I agree, I have always used MSN...I only got ICQ recently after getting into this industry
