A difference between US and Russian webmasters

I have some discounts on my site counted automaticaly by shopping cart.Add 10+ items to shopping cart then get 15% off.What is interesting is that most of the Russian and eastern Europe webmasters understand it without any problems but US webmasters still ask me - it doesn't work , what is the basic price , how much is 15% off etc etc etc
I though it is because US are more stupid but now I know - it is because Russian webmasters are hardly searching for word "discount" so they read about that in menu and understand
Also maybe the problem is my english
