Recent posts is the single best plugin you can install. Keeps the spiders busy with all the relevant content on a blog.

YARGH! I like finding I'm page one on google, live, and yahoo for a lot of terms/phrases!. Very cool plugin indeed.

me too and I also found out that for some reason strapon blogs (as in them being used on men) get a lot of visitors from China.

The couple hits from Mongolia to another blog was interesting too.

It's a bit of overkill but phpadsnew is what I use. Was going to get something (lighter) custom coded but with all the higher priority stuff happening I never got around to it.

i have phpadsnew (now known as openads) installed, but is really an overkill... besides i tried to create text ads that look like google adsense, but never got them right

For some reason the SEO plugin doesn´t work for me. It just shows "Seo_title()" at the title after editing the header.php and actvating the plugin.

any solution / help ?

i think you forgot the php quotes...
our header should like this:

<title><?php  Seo_Title() ?></title>
<?php Seo_Meta() ?>

is it an overkill, i have a seperate server for banners, i use hosthead, just pay for a year up front, much easier.

I really like Archivist which is a plugin that takes random old posts and re-posts them to a place you choose onthe front page. You can put in rules based on tags or catagories so that say plugged galleries don't get reposted. Keeps the old new!

You mean a plugin that will import FHGs and create blog posts with a large image that links back to the gallery?
