Question - mainstream sites

Ok if i want to build an adult site to make 50k a day id start some productive trades, build and submit a ton of feeder sites and put traffic leaks on anything and everything i submit ....


how do mainstream sites do it? They cant really trade so where do they get hits other than buying hits and getting SE hits?

They advertise in other meduims to such as print,tv, radio etc

spam, spam and more spam ;)

kidding, mostly through SE's (submitted and paid listings)
also, offline and you can actually play with bannerswaps to start and get a little traffic flowing that way...

Out of the 100 + emails i get a day, i would say more then half are for mainstream spam.
