    Tech: Request WMS authorization plugin

    Hello,

We're in search for a WMS (Windows Media Services) authorization plugin.
This should include if possible some sort of referrer protection, and authorization based on hashes, tokens, user/pass whatever.

If such plugin with any options is available to buy, or if we could hire someone to do this, or someone with contacts, we'd appreciate it!

Been searching for ages now, without much luck

    Thanks in advance!

    Wesley

ps: We run Windows 2003 Enterprise edition.

http://www.elims.org/wmsecure.htm might be worth checking into.

Personally i prefer to use IP based authentication, but it's hard for me to give advice without know your setup and etc.

"WMSECURE a Windows Media Services 4.1 Authorization Plug-in"
"Note: This solution is not compatible with WMS9."

      Unfortunately this won't work.

We run WMS9, on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition.
Also we don't want to use IIS fot this.

At this moment we're offering a free stream, but would like to referer protect this, and soon work with membership account (pay per minute, or just simple membership would be fine)

What more info would you require?
