Google update question?

when does the current google update become "active"??
when are new spidered sites going to be added to the index??
does anyone know about that?

Google seems to update one of my sites always on the 10th of the month, usually the search results appear on www2.google.com first before www. caches it (i dont know why it is like that but it is)

When the number of sites over all three servers show different results the dance (update) has truly started.

When they don't it's either finished or close to being so. Usually towards the end of each month.

Small updates occur thoughout the month though. The dance is simply a major update which includes revised PR.

normally googlebot walks around on the 28th each month
i just want to know when (on the update of Dec 28th) my new sites are going to recieve their first google traffic / when i will be able to see their PR
is it going to be Jan 1st or how long will it take

Usually around 3 or 4 days after it started dancing. Just keep an eye on the URL above. Seems to be running very late this month but that's xmas for you

www, www2 www3 are all the same so either they did not start or they are starting to hide it

i dont get the url thing
what does it show
shows all the same?? what can i see from it?

Look in the top right for number of links pointing to yahoo (currently something like 632,000).

When www1,www2 or www3 show a different number google is dancing. Then just keep an eye on them until they are the same again and google has finished (or almost).

Then go have a looksee and see if your search terms have got higher or lower and keep an eye on stats for newish ones suddenly getting good hits
