12 weeks ago www.myplacemaze.com went live and quietly crept its way into decent alexa ratings. This is a community designed for adult webmasters and sponsor company reps to interact, get to know people who don't have access to shows, and since its on a SE friendly platform, help improve members' page rankings for their sites.
We immediately got a huge response from unexpected places like Ho Chi Minh, and Tehran, places that none of us had even thought of when we came up with this global concept. Which is cool... The thing is, these folks aren't hip to the myspace concept of promoting within a community. So we are getting decent traffic, just not a lot of interaction.
