PS2 vs XBox

whis one is better ? i heard some guy say that Xbox got much better graphics. But Xbox games are too expensive about 50$ but we have lots of pirated PS2 CDs for 7$

Just about anyone who's used both will tell you the xbox is far superior. Price is a different thing from being better. WTF though - most xbox games are worth the $50 price tag. The same cant be said of most PS2 games...

I would rather play gta3 / gta vice city on my pc, since my pc is like xbox4.

Which is better a Lamborghini or a Pinto?

you can get a mod chip installed in your xbox and then you can play pirated games.

i prefer the xbox.

i suggest you buy a dvd burner and start leeching mad xbox games. and if you plan on playing xbox live (its online service, pretty damn cool) i suggest on buying a mod chip that you're able to turn on and off with a switch.

when i think about it, 90% of the games out for xbox right now are shit. if you're looking for quantity & quality of games i'd suggest ps2, but if you're looking for a fun time playing online and an all-around multimedia machine i'd go with xbox.

I have both. I had to buy PS2 for GTA, but that's all I use it for. xbox is way better, especially for multiplayer games.

That sounds good, but just isn't true. PS2 games are a dime a dozen nowadays. There seems to be so many games out there for this system that are just rehashed versions of another game. Don't get me wrong, it has it's great games, but if you're deciding on which console to buy, don't just jump at the PS2 without looking at the big picture.

The XBox is a more powerful system and with all the games that have recently come out, as well as the ones about to be released, and with the launch of XBox Live - the better system is obvious.

I just got a PS2 with about 8 games and it rocks.

SmackDown 4 and the new Lord of the Rings game are beyong awesome. I hqaven't even had time to play GTA Vice City much yet.

xbox is cool but sucks that halo isnt online yet

good games that i have though are mortal combat (of course) and the new splinter cell is pretty cool but its a steep ass learning curve.

The onlything i miss not having a ps2 is grandtheft auto....wish that shit wasnt exclusive to ps....

but sure the xbox is a good way to go, the graphics engine is slick as hell....

Don't forget, that the PS2 has more games to offer than Xbox and most stores usually carry far more PS2 games. Just a thought. Enjoy!

everyone, keep in mind that Microsoft owns xbox. And Microsoft will find a way to make sure they end up with more games, and better games than ps2 soon.
