You might find that some companies aren't that thrilled to deal with newbies. I personally love it I've seen alot of people start out and get big really fast if they are guided in the right direction.

A lot of sponsors will only list galleries in their feeds. Maybe just a small pic and one line of text. Nubiles feeds resemble an actual blog post. You can adjust the size of the pic and they have a lot of text. Here's an example of their hosted blog:
