For themes i usually just grab something from http://themes.wordpress.net/, with whatever I need, and then edit the style and replace the images with my own logos... Good method for the coding-deficient.

Plugins: usually find what I need at http://wp-plugins.net/..

And if you're using RSS feeds at all and want a multi blog automation system, check out autoblogger pro standalone, but i'm sure you already have a copy..
