    scheduling models... how would you handle this?

    Maybe I'm the only one that has a difficult time with this, but I hate this aspect of my job. I'm talking about when there's 2 models to shoot in a day. You get on the phone with them, and say "the shoot is on Saturday". They each say "what time?". My only response is "I'll have to check with the other model."

    So I call model A and he says "well, I'm not available for the evenings"

    And model B says "I've got a party to go to on Saturday night"

    Well... fuck. Where does that leave me? Check in time at the hotel I'm shooting them in is 3pm. Each model session lasts roughly 4 hours.

    What would you do, if you had to figure out a solution? Try for Sunday instead?

    have both of them come at the same time and while one is getting ready for the next set you shoot the other and go back and forth like that until you're done.

        You have a difficult job. You need to hire a secretary and mind shooting only.

          I do the scheduling for the webcam girls;

          When I recruit a new girl I always ask her in advance her availabilities, if she has a second job, what are her hours, her day off, does she have kids... We divide the day in 3 parts, 10am to 2pm or 11am to 3 pm for morning, 3-7pm or 4-8pm for afternoon and 7-11pm or 8-12am for evening.

          I let them chose which part of the day they are most likely free at all times and im able to fit pretty much all 25 models for the week. We 'impose' these time periods right in the beginning and it works well... All you need is to stick to a system.

            Take it from a model, I hate it when photographers/video guys sound like they do not know what they are talking about.

            From the shoots I go to to shoot for my new hardcore site minnieholly. they always double book models at the same time, that way once they are there, they can't do anything until thier shoots are finished. that way everyone can get work done, and if they leave early because they have a hot date, then you set them up on another double shoot.

            You have to multi task managely. I would be in LA for a week and in that time frame I would see about 30 models in one week doing shoots for videos and photos. while I am runing around gettign ready for my own shoots and doing clean up in between shoots to make things go faster.
