there is a little pain after, and if you don't rest for the two days they recommend you will swell, and swell BIG

other than that it was the best decision I have made

Everyone loves to scare you with horror stories. I had mine done, very little pain (i'm the master of medication)... and I was back in the saddle within three days.

I had mine a little over 2 years ago. I have to honestly say it was incredibly painful. Had mine under a general and went home that day...the next day my nuts were 3 times the size, couldn't sit, stand or lay down without then aching even with the pain medication.
It took 2 weeks for the swelling to subside and about a month before I was truly pain free.
On the other hand, I know other's who've had a little discomfort then they were back to normal, so I guess every person is different.

I got it done when I decided to 'retire' from the reproduction game.

The pain was minimal, they use a local anasthetic.

Make sure you are off your feet at least 2-3 days.

I would recommend vasectomy to anyone.

haha, yeah, ice was definitely my friends those few days

get some of those athletes ice packs and rotate them, they works great, and they are flat, unlike a bag of ice which is lumpy and something you don't want during that time

I did it about 3 months ago. It hurt very badly for a few days and then moderate pain for about a week thereafter. I have 3 kids whcihich was enough for me. Good luck.
